Sixty

                 ... 60 today-
                      and how much longer?
                      My eyes are weak
                      but the legs are stronger
                      My hair is thinning
                      the temples are grey
When the heart skips a beat
                      I can count my days
A never was- Now a has been
                      My time creeping
                      Is what I think…a sin?
                      My knees are sore
                      and the ankles weak
                      I rub my back
Age is havoc and it reeks
Can’t believe how fast it goes by
                      I wish I was wrong
                      But that would be lie
Like a breeze it just flows
Yeah, we all were just kids
You know what they say about gettin’ old

                       It’s really the shits
